EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST -
PRINCIPALS AND TEACHERS
Aboriginal Independent Community Schools (Western Australia)

The Support Unit for the Aboriginal Independent Community Schools (AICS) is seeking expressions of interest from qualified people interested in the position of school principals and/or teachers to start Term 4 2007, or the beginning of 2008.

AICS comprises fourteen schools situated in various locations around Western Australia. Several of the schools are seeking principals for a rewarding and challenging opportunity for qualified people with a range of skills, wishing to work in the area of Aboriginal Education. The schools are searching for people who are willing to work in a cross-cultural situation to deliver high quality educational programs, and to be trained in the delivery of established programs such as the highly successful Accelerated Literacy program in place in the AIC Schools. Principals need to be flexible, have good people skills, experience in the development of quality education programs and skills in administration.

More information on the AIC Schools may be accessed by visiting the AIC Schools’ website – http://www.aics.wa.edu.au.

Interested people can register an expression of interest online via the abovementioned website.
