The School purpose is to:

The focus of the School is to:
improve literacy and numeracy skills while extending the integration of Nyungar history and culture across the curriculum;
improve the health of the children thereby improving their attendance and retention.

| History: | Previously known as Culunga Catholic Aboriginal School established in 1981, was re-located to the current premises in 1988. This land has been identified as an ancient camping ground of the Nyungar Community. The school changed its name to "Culunga Aboriginal Community School" following the transfer of the management to the Nyungar Community in 1988.
Facilities include:
free transport provided by the School;

Aboriginal art and craft;
Indoor and outdoor sports;
Modelling and Self-defence;
Computer technology;
Weekly health checks including Conductive Hearing Loss and Ear testing;
After school homework classes;
